Sleigh pop-up holiday bar coming to Jack Casino - cleveland.com

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Sleigh, Jack Cleveland Casino's holiday pop-up bar, is scheduled to return for its third consecutive year.

The bar will have extended hours for the holiday season, running Friday, Nov. 24, to Saturday, Dec. 23. The bar will be open 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

The folks at the casino are transforming Sleigh with full holiday spirit, with over-the-top décor on the third floor. It will include a phone booth to Santa, retro toys spilling from Santa's bag and a life-sized Rice Krispie Treat snowman.

The bar will feature themed cocktails, including The Naughty List, Warm & Fuzzy, Winter Wonderland Martini and specialty boozy holiday drinks served in edible cookie-shot glasses.

Holiday pop-up bars are all the rage. Locally, they include the nationally touring Miracle Bar at Society Lounge and the Secret Cellar Christmas Bar at Great Lakes Brewing Co.

Jack Casino is at 100 Public Square.

Durango casino heralds a new Red Rock Resorts growth spurt - The Nevada Independent

Tuesday morning's opening of the $780 million Durango Casino Resort comes 15 years after the company opened its last development.  Red Rock Resorts President Scott Kreeger said a dry spell like that won't be repeated. The company already has a few locations in mind for expansion. He said Durango's opening is the blueprint for Red Rock's development plans — building resorts in areas around the Las Vegas Valley where the population is growing, the economy is expanding and the company is not represented in the gaming landscape. Red Rock owns six development sites that, combined, cover more than 500 acres in regions stretching to the outer ends of Clark County, giving the company a roadmap for future projects.
